In a sweet clip captured during Prince William and Princess Kate's recent trip to Wales, the mother of three opened up about Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis's reaction to seeing the couple's 2010 engagement photos. The video was shared on Tik Tok, showing the royal spotting a flag printed with one of the engagement pics as she greeted members of the Welsh public.

"Oh my goodness, is that from our engagement?" Kate asked the flag's owner, before adding that she and William "always laugh about" the fact that "although we've been married for 11 years, we've been together for double that, so it's extraordinary."

"The children look back at the photos and say, 'Mummy, you look so young!'" the royal added.

The princess also mentioned the significance of Tuesday's visit. "It's nice coming back to Wales because it was where we lived before we had our family and everything," she said. "So, it's been a really special day."

The couple previously lived on the Welsh island of Anglesey, where they had their first home as newlyweds, as William worked as a helicopter pilot with the Royal Air Force's Search and Rescue Force. They also spent their first their first months as parents in Wales after welcoming Prince George.

Previously known as the Cambridges, George, Charlotte, and Louis now go by Wales surnames at school, after their parents inherited the titles of Prince and Princess of Wales following Queen Elizabeth's death. King Charles announced the new titles on September 9, in his first speech after acceding the throne.

A royal source told BAZAAR.com at the time that the couple intended "on deepening the trust and respect of the people of Wales over time" and "will approach their roles in the modest and humble way they’ve approached their work previously."

The source added that while Princess Kate "appreciates the history associated with this role," she also wanted "to look to the future as she creates her own path."
