Duchess Meghan made a rare, stylish appearance at a film screening yesterday in Los Angeles.

In new photos shared by director Misan Harriman on Instagram, the Duchess of Sussex is seen sitting onstage at a panel discussion, which she moderated, about his new short film The After.

For the occasion, Meghan brought out her most elegant nine-to-five attire, which this time consisted of an all-brown suit look. The outfit was composed of a sleek double-breasted blazer with black buttons, which Meghan layered over a fitted turtleneck top and paired with breezy, high-waisted suit pants. To finish off the chic look, she chose a pair of black suede pointed-toe pumps, small gold hoop earrings, and a gold-and-diamond constellation ring by Logan Hollowell.

As always, the Archetypes podcast host kept her makeup look natural; she had her hair pulled back in a neat, low ponytail.

“Here are some images from a very special screening of The After moderated by the Duchess of Sussex. It was extra special to have her and so many of my film idols watch this film. Thank you for coming to all the guests and 🙏🏾 @netflix for hosting,” Harriman wrote in his caption.

Streaming now on Netflix, The After is an intense 18-minute film that tells the story of a grieving rideshare driver, and the passenger he picks up who helps him confront his difficult past, IMDb says.

While it’s unclear why Meghan chose to participate in the screening and discussion, the duchess was an actor. And even after leaving her role in the Canadian show Suits to marry Prince Harry, she rekindled her relationship with Netflix for her and his 2022 docuseries, Harry & Meghan.
