Maui radio station KAOI AM will air the second session of the U.S. House Select Committee that investigated the Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol.
The hearing will be broadcast Monday at 4 a.m. Hawaii time on 1110 AM, 96.7 FM, 98.7 FM and 96.5 FM on the west side, according to an announcement from KAOI on Friday.
NBC News will be hosting the broadcast.
The nine-member committee, which has spent nearly a year investigating the attack and interviewing more than 1,000 people, held its first hearing Thursday to publicly share its findings. Capitol Police Officer Caroline Edwards, who was injured in the attack, and filmmaker Nick Quested, who was doing a documentary on the Proud Boys, were the first witnesses called.
