The versatile actress was named Elizabeth BerkleyLauren when she was born in Farmington Hills on July 28, 1972, to parents Fred Berkley (lawyer) and Jere Berkley (gift basket business owner). She was raised in the affluent suburb of Oakland County, Michigan with her older brother, Jason. For her secondary education, Elizabeth Berkely was first enrolled in a private school, the Cranbrook Kingswood School, located in Bloomfield Hills, before moving on to North Farmington High School, where she finally graduated in 1990.
He became passionate about the arts quite early when she took a huge taste for dancing. This prompted her parents to prepare the basement of their house so that she could exercise whenever she wanted. When she was older, she wanted to see how far her passion for dance would go and traveled a lot in New York, where she would have the chance to train with veteran choreographers and dancers.
During her quiballet-inclusive dance training, she was able to secure minor roles in musical productions requiring ballerinas in 1983. Her most defining role came in 1989, when she was just fifteen years old on the television show. Saved by the Bell where she played the role of Jessie Spano. This role pushed her popularity far beyond her expectations and she played it for four years (1989-1993). After leaving show business, she set her sights on silver screens and had a role in the controversial 1995 film Showgirls
Unfortunately, due to the nude and hypersexual nature of the film, he was heavily criticized and it got him dropped from his agent.
